Your mission is to be the crucial final link in our promise to customers. You are the expert who transforms a box of sophisticated technology into a live, data-producing asset on a vehicle. You are responsible for the flawless physical and digital deployment of our systems, ensuring every installation is clean, reliable, and meets the highest standards of quality and safety.
2. Key Outcomes : What You Must Achieve
Your success will be measured by your ability to :
- Execute Flawless Installations : Complete an average of [60] high-quality installations per week, ensuring 100% of workorders are closed with zero post-installation hardware-related defects or callbacks.
- Maximize Customer Confidence : Achieve a customer satisfaction rating of >
95% on post-installation surveys, leaving every client feeling educated, confident, and positive about their new technology.
Uphold Peak Efficiency : Maintain a vehicle downtime of under [45min] per installation, respecting our clients' operational schedules and maximizing your own productive capacity.Ensure Operational Readiness : Guarantee that 100% of installed devices are activated, online, and transmitting data correctly before you leave the client site, preventing future support headaches.Champion Safety & Standards : Adhere to and demonstrate 100% compliance with all vehicle and workshop safety protocols. Own the Installation Process : You are the expert on the ground. You decide the most efficient and effective sequence of tasks for each unique vehicle and device combination to achieve a perfect result.Solve Installation Challenges : You have the authority to make on-the-spot decisions regarding optimal device placement, routing for wiring harnesses, and minor modifications (within predefined safety and warranty guidelines) to ensure a clean and professional install.Manage Your Territory : You will be responsible for planning the most efficient daily route to meet your installation targets, coordinating directly with customers to schedule arrival times that minimize their downtime.Improve Our Playbook : You are encouraged to provide continuous feedback and suggest improvements to our installation guides, techniques, and kit components based on what you see and learn in the field every day.4. Who You Are : The Non-Negotiables
To thrive with this level of freedom and responsibility, you must have :
Proven experience (1-2+ years) in 12V automotive installation, low-voltage wiring, or a similar hands-on technical field (e.g., auto alarm, stereo, telematics installation).A strong understanding of vehicle electrical systems and the confidence to work safely with multimeters, power probes, and hand tools.A meticulous eye for detail and a deep pride in delivering work that is both functionally perfect and visually clean.Exceptional customer-facing skills. You are professional, punctual, and can clearly explain what you’re doing to a curious fleet manager or driver.A valid driver's license and a clean driving record.The physical ability to work in and around vehicles, including climbing into cabs, bending, and using tools in tight spaces.Ready to Build & Install?
