Position Summary :
The Grant Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of pre-award and post-award grant administration at the university. This role ensures compliance with university policies, funding agency regulations, and state laws. The Grant Manager plays a key role in budgeting, reporting, and monitoring grants, working closely with faculty, researchers, and administrative staff to support research and programmatic funding.

Pre-Award Responsibilities :
- Assist faculty and researchers in identifying funding opportunities
- Coordinate the preparation and submission of grant proposals with the help of grant writer
- Review grant applications for compliance with agency and university guidelines
- Develop proposal budgets and ensure accurate documentation
- Liaise with funding agencies during the application process
Post-Award Responsibilities :
Monitor awarded grants to ensure funds are used appropriately and within budgetPrepare financial and narrative reports for internal and external stakeholdersEnsure compliance with sponsor regulations and university policiesManage grant modifications, extensions, and closeoutsCoordinate audits and resolve issues related to fundingAdministrative and Financial Oversight :
Efficiently explore and use grant management software, databases, and digital tools to oversee the full grant lifecycle, including application tracking, compliance monitoring, reporting schedules, and documentation managementMaintain up-to-date records of all grant transactions and documentationAdvise researchers and administrators on grant-related policiesTrain and support departments in grant processes and financial managementCollaborate with finance and legal teams to support contracts and sub-awardsQualifications : Education :
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Education, Public Administration, or a related field.Master's degree preferred.Experience :

Position Summary :
The Grant Writer is responsible for identifying funding opportunities and preparing compelling grant proposals to support research, academic programs, and policy initiatives largely in the social sciences discipline. Working closely with faculty, research centres, and university leadership, the Grant Writer will play a critical role in enhancing the university's research profile and securing external funding from national and international agencies.
Key Responsibilities :
Proposal Writing & Development : Draft, edit, and finalize grant proposals in collaboration with social science faculty and researchers for submission to funding agencies such as ICSSR, UGC, DST, international NGOs, UN agencies, philanthropic foundations, and bilateral donors.Funding Opportunity Identification : Monitor and disseminate relevant funding calls, tenders, and RFPs focused on social science disciplines including sociology, psychology, economics, political science, public policy, development studies, etc.Faculty Support : Provide strategic input, editorial support, and guidance to faculty members and research teams in conceptualizing and developing grant proposals.Post-Award Support : Support preparation of interim and final narrative reports for awarded projects in coordination with PIs and project staff.Grant Database Management : Maintain a central repository of submitted proposals, successful grants, deadlines, reporting timelines, and donor correspondence.Qualifications and Skills :
Essential :
Master's degree in a social science discipline (e.g., Sociology, Political Science, Economics, Psychology, Development Studies, or related field); PhD preferredAt least 2–3 years of experience in grant writing, proposal development, or fundraising in the social science domainExcellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong command of academic and research languageProven ability to write clearly, concisely, and persuasively for various audiences, especially funders and reviewersFamiliarity with major social science funding agencies (e.g., ICSSR, UNDP, Ford Foundation, IDRC, Welcome Trust)Preferred :
