Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Pune for an Inspection Officer. The Inspection Officer will carry out on-field inspections of agricultural, processing, and handling units to ensure compliance with NPOP standards. Responsibilities include documenting findings, preparing inspection reports, and collaborating with the certification team to ensure that processes align with organic certification requirements. The role will also involve interacting with stakeholders to provide guidance on organic practices and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience in inspection
• Hands-on experience in on-field inspections and report preparation
• Knowledge of organic certification standards such as NPOP and basic farming practices
• Strong organizational, documentation, and communication skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively and provide clear feedback to stakeholders
• Relevant educational background in Agriculture, Environmental Science, or related fields
• Proficiency in computer applications for record-keeping and reporting
• Willingness to travel for on-field inspections
