SAP PP / QM Consultant

Description :

• Experienced SAP PP-QM HANA Support Consultant to provide comprehensive functional and technical support in the Production Planning (PP) and Quality Management (QM) modules within an SAP S / 4HANA environment.
• The role involves handling day-to-day incidents, configuration changes, and enhancements, ensuring stable manufacturing and quality processes for business users.
• Candidate should have solid experience in Discrete Manufacturing, Process Industries, and Quality Processes, with a strong understanding of end-to-end integration with other SAP modules.
• Provide AMS support for SAP PP and QM modules in the S / 4HANA landscape.
• Manage and resolve production and quality-related incidents, service requests, and problem tickets within SLA timelines.
• Troubleshoot and optimize Production Planning processes such as Material Requirement Planning (MRP), Capacity Planning, Work Centers, Routings, and Shop Floor Execution.
• Support Process Orders, Production Orders, and Confirmation processes including variance analysis and settlement.
• Handle Quality Management (QM) processes such as Inspection Planning, Quality Notifications, Usage Decisions, and Results Recording.
• Work on QM Integration with PP, MM, and PM modules for inspection at goods receipt, during production, and at goods issue.
• Analyze system issues, perform root cause analysis, and provide permanent corrective actions in collaboration with technical teams (ABAP / BASIS).
• Perform configuration changes in PP and QM based on change requests, system upgrades, or business process changes.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify process gaps, propose SAP best practices, and drive continuous improvements.
• Create and update functional specifications, configuration documents, and test scripts for change requests.
• Support Unit, Integration, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) phases during enhancements, rollouts, or upgrades.
• Provide support for master data management (Material Master, Work Centers, BOMs, Routings, Inspection Plans).
• Coordinate with other SAP module teams (MM, SD, FI, PM) for seamless end-to-end integration.
• Hands-on experience in SAP PP and QM configuration and support in S / 4HANA.
• In-depth knowledge of MRP, Shop Floor Control, Discrete Manufacturing, and Process Orders.
• Strong understanding of BOM, Routing, Production Versions, and Order Confirmation.
• Sound experience in Inspection Lots, Quality Notifications, Results Recording, and Usage Decisions.
• Good exposure to Batch Management, Sampling Procedures, and QM Master Data.
• Familiarity with Integration between PP, QM, MM, SD, and PM modules.
• Working knowledge of IDOCs, Enhancements, BADIs, and User Exits related to PP / QM.
