- The candidate would need to interact and align with global group companies and external partners for development areas.
- Planning, coordinating and implementing functional safety in company products / system
- Development, review and maintain work products as per the safety standards e.g. Safety Plan, safety cases, Safety strategy etc.
- Review of Safety work products like DIA, HARA, FSC and TSC at system level.
- Create quantitative Fault tree analysis and review other brands FTA.
- Understanding of analysis techniques like FMEDA, Hardware Metrics and FIT calculations.
- Able to analyze safety anomaly, provide effective safety solutions and communicate to organizational safety expert forums.
- Organize verification and confirmation reviews for safety work products.
- Plan and lead functional safety assessment for project with vehicle safety team
- Verify all verification and validation results are in compliance with the functional safety aspects and address the open gaps with effective solutions.
- Collaborate with different brand companies for functional safety of projects.
Must Have :
- Alignment of Functional Safety Development activities concerning the Electric Vehicle Charging Control Unit within an international and cross-brand agile component development team
- Interface concerning FuSa development between system development team and the Electric Vehicle Charging Control Unit development team
- Alignment of FuSa component development, incl. alignment between product owner, ECU architect, SW architect, HW responsible, SW development teams
- Support of TSC creation on system level
- Creation / Update of Component TSC
- Responsible for Safety Plan, Safety Case and DIA for the Electric Vehicle Charging Control Unit component level
- Coordination of regular FuSa Sync among affected experts (product owner, FuSa manager system, function architect, HW responsible, test engineers, SW development teams, etc.)
- 5 -7 years experience in ISO 26262 functional safety management in automotive sector
- Focus on ISO 26262 experience on ECU, HW and SW level preferred (especially parts 5 and 6 of ISO 26262 Ed2)
- Experience in eMobility field preferred
