We are seeking an expert Senior 3D Modeling Software Developer to join our team for a permanent remote project, working as a full-time freelancer / contractor.

Key Responsibilities :

Advanced Software Development :

  • Architect, develop, and maintain sophisticated 3D modeling software applications tailored for high-performance environments.
  • Innovate and integrate new features, ensuring seamless functionality and exceptional user experiences.
  • Optimize complex codebases to achieve peak performance, reliability, and scalability.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, artists, and engineers, to integrate 3D modeling solutions with broader system architectures.

Cutting-Edge 3D Graphics and Modeling :

  • Implement state-of-the-art algorithms for 3D geometry processing, rendering, simulation, and visualization.
  • Develop and manage high-quality 3D assets and ensure their compatibility and performance across various platforms.
  • Work with advanced rendering techniques including ray tracing, global illumination, and PBR (Physically Based Rendering).
  • Maintain compliance with leading 3D formats and standards to ensure interoperability and integration.

    • Research and Technological Innovation :

  • Conduct thorough research to stay ahead of the latest advancements in 3D modeling, graphics, and related technologies.
  • Prototype and validate innovative concepts to push the envelope of 3D modeling capabilities.
  • Lead initiatives to incorporate emerging technologies such as VR (Virtual Reality), AR (Augmented Reality), and AI (Artificial Intelligence) into our 3D modeling applications.

    • Quality Assurance and Testing :

  • Develop comprehensive testing frameworks, including unit, integration, and performance tests to ensure high software quality.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex software issues and bugs swiftly.
  • Ensure all deliverables meet stringent quality standards and user requirements.
  • Collaborate with QA teams to enforce rigorous testing protocols and maintain software excellence.

    • Documentation and Technical Support :

  • Create and maintain detailed technical documentation for all developed software, ensuring clarity and completeness.
  • Provide expert-level technical support and troubleshooting for internal teams and external users.
  • Conduct thorough code reviews and provide mentorship to junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and learning.

    • Mandatory Skills :

  • 3D Software : Blender, Maya, 3ds Max

    • Required Qualifications :

    Technical Expertise :

  • Extensive experience in developing advanced 3D modeling software with C++ and Python.
  • Deep understanding of 3D graphics principles, including rendering, shading, and texturing.
  • Proven track record of working with 3D graphics APIs such as OpenGL, DirectX, and Vulkan.
  • Expertise in using and integrating 3D software like Blender, Maya, and 3ds Max.
  • Proficiency in implementing high-performance rendering techniques like ray tracing and PBR.

    • Professional Experience :

  • Minimum of 3-8 years of professional experience in 3D modeling software development.
  • Experience working with game engines such as Unity and Unreal Engine.
  • Strong background in using development tools like Git, Visual Studio, and Docker.
  • Solid understanding of operating systems including Windows, Linux, and MacOS.
