Head of Software - Software Architect

Head of Software / Software Architect – BioFizz AgriTech Pvt. Ltd.

Reports To : Chairman & Managing Director (CMD) / CEO

Role Purpose

The Head of Software / Software Architect will be responsible for designing and implementing the digital backbone of BioFizz, starting with the delivery app and scaling to a full suite of digital platforms. This role demands a balance of technical expertise, leadership, and strategic thinking, ensuring that BioFizz's vision of an automated, farmer–dealer–distributor ecosystem becomes reality.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement end-to-end software architecture (front-end, back-end, APIs, databases, cloud).
• Ensure scalability for large user bases, multilingual support, and offline-first access in rural areas.
• Select the technology stack, tools, and establish development standards and best practices.
• Recruit, mentor, and lead a team (developers, UI / UX, QA, DevOps).
• Oversee project timelines, sprint planning, code reviews, and releases.
• Integrate app with ERP / CRM systems, payment gateways, and logistics APIs.
• Implement cybersecurity measures and ensure compliance with IT / data privacy regulations.
• Provide technical leadership aligned with BioFizz's long-term growth strategy.
