Location : Vadodara, Gujarat, India

Department : Sales & Business Development

Job Summary :

We are seeking a results-oriented and driven Business Development Executive to expand our market presence and drive sales of our industrial networking solutions product portfolio.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, building strong relationships with potential clients, and achieving sales targets within the industrial sector.

This role requires understanding of industrial networking technologies, excellent sales and negotiation skills, and the ability to effectively communicate technical solutions to a diverse range of stakeholders.

Responsibilities :

  • New Business Generation :
  • Proactively identify and target potential customers within the industrial sector (e.g., manufacturing, energy, transportation, utilities, automation, renewables).
  • Generate leads through various methods, including cold outreach, networking, industry research, and attending relevant events and exhibitions.
  • Qualify leads and assess their needs for industrial router and Ethernet switch solutions.
  • Sales & Account Management :
  • Present and demonstrate our industrial router and Ethernet switch product portfolio effectively, highlighting their features, benefits, and applications in industrial environments.
  • Understand customer technical requirements and propose tailored solutions that meet their specific needs.
  • Develop and deliver compelling sales proposals, quotations, and presentations.
  • Negotiate pricing and contract terms to achieve mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with new and existing customers.
  • Act as a key point of contact for customers, ensuring their satisfaction and identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
  • Market Intelligence & Strategy :
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape within the industrial networking sector.
  • Provide feedback to the product and marketing teams on market needs and customer requirements.
  • Contribute to the development and execution of sales and business development strategies.
  • Sales Operations & Reporting :
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, leads, and customer interactions in the CRM system.
  • Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for management.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (technical support, logistics) to ensure smooth order processing and delivery.
  • Product Knowledge :
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of our industrial router and Ethernet switch product portfolio, including technical specifications, features, and applications.
  • Stay updated on new product releases and technological advancements in industrial networking.

Requirements :

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Computer Science, or related field) or Business Administration with a strong technical aptitude.
  • Strong understanding of industrial networking technologies, including Ethernet, TCP / IP, routing protocols, VLANs, and network security concepts.
  • Familiarity with industrial cellular routers (e.g., 4G LTE, 5G) and their applications in remote connectivity and M2M / IoT deployments is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills with a proven track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented with a strong drive to succeed.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Willingness to travel within the assigned region as required.
  • If candidate is not having the technical products knowledge, training shall be provided.
  • Proficiency in English is essential; knowledge of additional regional languages is a plus.
