Manager - Financial Accg, BSIPL & BIIPL

POSITION PURPOSE :

Responsible for the complete, timely execution of the Accounting Operations in good quality in the area of General Ledger, Local Statutory Financial and Group Reporting for Bayer Science And Innovation Private Limited (BSIPL) (including Bangladesh Branch Office) and Bayer Investments India Private Limited (BIIPL).

BSIPL has vegetable seeds business, licensing of seed technology and traits, research and development activities, and providing Contract Research Services and Global Business Services. The financial of its branch in Bangladesh is consolidated.

BIIPL carries out investment activities mainly in shares and securities of group companies. It hold investment in joint venture with third party. BIIPL prepares standalone financials and consolidates its joint venture company by equity method in consolidated financial statements.

Contribute to the reliability of the books in his / her scope of responsibility allowing a certification by external auditors.

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES : A. General Ledger :

• Initiate creating and changing requests for GL accounts according to defined work procedures.
• Perform manual General Ledger posting for special cases as defined within the activity split.
• Support the increase of standard cases and involve business in the defined workflows.
• Monitoring of Accounts which are in responsibility of the country.
• Is responsible to do local GAAP postings and evaluation (perform plausibility checks). This being an important activity on account of local financial year is Apr-Mar and significant GAAP differences.
• Provide accrual & provision tracking for balances as on March for With Holding Tax compliance and reporting.

WHO YOU ARE :

Chartered Accountant qualification with minimum 4-5 year working experience in finance and / or accounting dept. or other similar positions along 3 years' experience in preparation of local statutory financials under Ind AS in Accounting department of manufacturing / marketing company and excellent knowledge on system settings and internal controls
