About the Team

The Cloud Technology & Infrastructure team builds platforms that are used by the whole of cloud engineering at Roku. Together these components are designed to be a cost-effective and secure platform of services used by Roku engineers globally. Our infrastructure team owns the following segments :

• The Developer platform which involves management and evolution of source control artifacts CI / CD and securing cloud infrastructure
• Our Application hosting platform that is based on Kubernetes and Istio and is designed to address scalability multi-region hosting multi-cloud hosting and nuances of deployment
• The Observability platform which is based on Prometheus Loki Grafana and is integrated with our application hosting and developer platform
• Plus the Cloud Governance program
• Our team members are smart collegial collaborative and focused on building the best-in-class platform. We foster a culture of experimentation looking for the best idea to take the day. As a leader on this team our Manager of Cloud Tech models this behavior : If were not trying new things were not growing. And we need to grow and adapt for Roku to stay on top.
