Job description

We are seeking a Senior Sales Engineer to drive technical integrations with our existing partners, lead proof-of-concept (POC) initiatives, and onboard new partners by leveraging strong business and technical acumen.

About the role :

This role will report to the Chief Growth Officer in the Corporate Development department (Partnerships Team). As the Senior Sales Engineer, you will support the development of technical integrations with existing partners, execute POCs, and onboard new partners through your business and technical expertise. You will serve as the front-line technical integration expert across SatSure’s APIs and integrated partner workflows. You will collaborate with SatSure’s Engineering and Product teams to support the expansion of our partner integration programs. You will play a critical role in accelerating time-to-market, generating revenue earlier in the sales cycle.

Key Responsibilities :

1 . External - Partners and Sales facing :

  • Sell through technical expertise : Work alongside Sales and Partnerships to introduce, explain, and demo our APIs and integrations;

support closing deals and larger-ACV engagements. Build repeatable and scalable solutions and demos worldwide. Upsell and cross-sell to various other stakeholders for the customer.

  • Primary technical contact for the partnership team and the customer for GTM solutions for the verticals we serve.
  • Architect integration solutions : Collaborate with partner technical leads to design optimal integration approaches, enhance onboarding, and provide active assistance during implementation.
  • Maintain trust & support : Act as a go-to advisor for partner-related technology, offering ongoing testing assistance, issue resolution, and proactive advisory services.
  • 2. Internal - Product & Engineering facing :

  • Bridge between partners and internal teams : Gather market insights and product feedback, document partner roadmaps, test new features, coordinate releases, and help prioritize key technical enhancements.
  • Enable internal stakeholders by providing documentation, test plans, training, and integration best practices to support Sales, Customer Success, and support teams in their partner engagements.
  • Capture detailed requirements : Work with Sales and Product teams to capture integration nuances, edge-case use cases, and requirements to inform product design specifications.
  • Support the evolution of integrations : Ensure partner integrations are updated and maintained in line with product changes, and troubleshoot any regressions or deprecated functionality.
  • Qualifications :

  • Bachelors in Computer Science or preferable Engineering or Remote Sensing.
  • Experience : 5-7 years of technical experience, preferably in a consulting or integration engineering role. Prior experience in engaging with enterprise and government clients or in the Earth observation industry is a must.
  • Must Have Skills :

  • Strong understanding of REST APIs, SDKs integration, API management, and cloud infrastructure. Prior exposure to EO APIs, satellite-derived data products, or geospatial analytics. Experience with software tools, such as QGIS, ERDAS, and ESRI, is desired.
  • Knowledge of AI / ML is a must.
  • Experience selling APIs or platform-based solutions.
  • Strong project management experience, including experience leading multiple external stakeholders and managing multiple projects at different stages of maturity.
  • Entrepreneurial thinking and the ability to turn high-level direction into detailed action plans.
  • Excellent communications, verbal and written .
  • Experience generating technical documentation, including requirements, scope, and how-to guides.
  • Exceptional team player with proven ability to lead through influence and action.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to thrive in fast-paced, highly collaborative, often ambiguous environments.
