Job descriptionExperience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare domain is highly preferred. 7- 8 years of total experience with good experience in a technical lead / project management or engineering leadership role. Strong understanding of data engineering workflows, including ETL / ELT, data lakes, warehousing, and real time streaming. Knowledge of cloud platforms (especially AWS) and services such as S3 Glue, Lambda, or similar tools like GenAI. Familiarity with modern data stack tools like Airflow, DBT, Snowflake, Databricks, etc. Excellent stakeholder communication, problem-solving, and cross-team coordination skills. Hands-on experience with Agile / Scrum methodologies.
Job Description : Responsibilities :
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of data engineering initiatives across cloud and on-premise environments.
- Partner with Data Engineers, Architects, DevOps, and Business Analysts to translate high-level requirements into clear technical deliverables.
- Act as a technical liaison- facilitating conversations between business stakeholders and engineering teams.
- Oversee architecture reviews, technical documentation, sprint planning, and backlog grooming.
- Ensure adherence to data security, compliance, and privacy standards, especially in regulated domains like pharma.
- Proactively identify project risks, dependencies, and bottlenecks; develop mitigation plans.
- Track KPIs and success metrics to ensure project outcomes align with business objectives.
- Collaborate with QA, DataOps, and cloud teams to maintain quality and delivery SLAs.
