About the Role
We are looking for a results-driven Masterbatch Marketing & Sales Executive, who will lead growth in the assigned region by expanding our Specialty Polymer & Masterbatches business. Individual will nurture existing customers while identifying and developing new opportunities to drive sales and increase market presence.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand the polymer / masterbatch market trends in the region and develop effective strategies to maximize market reach and penetration for masterbatch products.
- Drive sales of black masterbatches to B2B customers in the wire & cable and allied industries.
- Identify and develop new customers and markets (domestic & export) through structured prospecting and networking. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients.
- Conduct market research to assess trends, competitor offerings, and customer needs to stay ahead of the competition and identify potential opportunities.
- Support customer technical discussions in coordination with the R&D / technical team.
- Prepare and present sales proposals, product pitches, and commercial offers.
- Maintain sales pipeline, MIS reporting, forecasts, and performance dashboards.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and execute product promotion campaigns, exhibitions, and digital outreach.
- Work closely with internal teams for pricing strategies, product positioning, and delivery coordination.
- Prepare visit plans for client interactions and provide regular reports on sales activities, customer feedback, and market developments to the management.
Desired Candidate Profile
Education : Graduate / Postgraduate preferably from Science, Chemistry, Polymer Science, CIPET etc.Experience : 2–3 years of marketing / sales in polymers / plastics industry, with focus on masterbatches or compounds.Proven B2B sales experience, preferably in coloured MB and compounds.Technical knowledge and expertise in Engineering polymer & Specialty Polymers.Good knowledge of market research, competitor analysis, and reporting tools.Proficiency in MS Office, CRM, ERP systems, and data analysis tools.Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.Willingness to travel for customer visits, exhibitions, and business development.
