ScienceLogic L3 Administrator

At least 5–7 years of experience building, managing, and deploying ScienceLogic solutions. This includes a deep understanding of its core components, PowerPacks, and functionalities.

Perform upgrades, patching, and configuration of SL1, PowerFlow, PowerPacks, and SyncPacks.

Maintain availability, integrity, and security of the SL1 platform.

Triage and resolve platform-level issues and integration problems.

Broad knowledge of operating systems (Windows, Linux), networking concepts (TCP / IP, DNS), and database management. Experience with cloud platforms like AWS and Azure is often required.

Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills with the ability to resolve complex, mission-critical issues.

Experience with scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell

Experience working with application monitoring systems and other AIOps solutions.

Develop and maintain monitoring and notification rules.

Tune SL1 to optimize performance and cost across cloud environments (AWS, Azure).

Assist in anomaly detection and alerting improvements.

Integrate SL1 with tools like ServiceNow, JIRA, and other enterprise systems.

Support automation workflows and dashboard creation for KPIs.

Manage access controls and enforce least privilege principles.

Assist with security assessments and compliance documentation.
