Linux L3 Administrator - Mumbai

Role : Linux L3 Administrator (Deep expertise in Red Hat Satellite)

We at Silvereye IT Solutions Pvt. Ltd. are looking for an experienced RHEL L3 Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will bring strong hands-on expertise in Linux troubleshooting at L3 level and advanced knowledge of Red Hat Satellite for enterprise infrastructure management.

Key Responsibilities :

1) Provide L3-level support for Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) environments, resolving critical incidents and escalations.

2) Manage Red Hat Satellite for patching, lifecycle management, provisioning, subscription handling, and capsule management.

3) Lead OS upgrades, kernel patching, and system performance tuning.

4) Troubleshoot complex issues across OS, networking, storage, and application layers.

5) Implement system hardening and security compliance (SELinux, CIS / STIG benchmarks, auditd).

6) Configure and support RHEL clustering & HA (Pacemaker, Corosync, PCS clusters).

7) Automate operational tasks using Bash / Python scripting and Ansible.

8) Collaborate with L1 / L2 teams, provide mentorship, and document processes.

9) Participate in incident, change, and problem management processes.

Required Skills :

1) 8+ years of relevant experience in RHEL / Linux administration.

2) Deep expertise in Red Hat Satellite (patch automation, content views, provisioning).

3) Strong troubleshooting experience in kernel, filesystem, and networking issues.

4) Hands-on with LVM, NFS, iSCSI, bonding / teaming, firewalld, SELinux.

5) Exposure to virtualization platforms (KVM, VMware) and cloud (AWS / Azure).

6) Knowledge of ITIL processes (Incident / Change / Problem Management).

Good to Have :

1) Red Hat Certifications (RHCE, Satellite Specialist).

2) Experience in OpenShift, Ansible, or other Red Hat ecosystem tools.
