Backend Developer

Location : Pune

Project : Strategic Development Team

We are seeking an experienced Backend Developer to join our strategic development team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Python, cloud technologies, and modern backend frameworks. Youll be responsible for designing and building scalable, secure, and efficient backend systems that power high-performance applications.

Key Responsibilities :

Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems and APIs.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
Implement secure and efficient data storage solutions using SQL and NoSQL databases.
Ensure CI / CD best practices and maintain version control systems.
Optimize system performance and troubleshoot production issues.

Required Technical Experience :

5+ years of backend development experience.

Strong expertise in Python.

Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform preferred).

Familiarity with REST, GraphQL, or gRPC API design.

Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases (Postgres, MongoDB, Firebase).

Knowledge of microservices architecture.

Experience with CI / CD pipelines (Jenkins, CircleCI, GitLab).

Proficient in source code versioning tools (Git).

Preferred / Nice to Have :

Experience with AI platforms (OpenAI, Anthropic, HuggingFace, etc.).

Background in enterprise-scale application development.

Knowledge of Node.js, NuxtJS, or Express.js.

Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.

Strong understanding of security best practices.
