Experience Required : 15+ Years Experience in Oil & Gas Industry with minimum 4 shutdowns in GCC countries.

Education : BE / BTech in Mechanical Engineering

Key Responsibilities :
Strategic Leadership :
- Develop and implement HSE policies, systems, and procedures aligned with corporate goals and legal requirements.
- Set HSE objectives and performance targets in collaboration with senior management.
- Lead the development and execution of safety culture improvement initiatives.
Compliance & Regulatory Management :
Ensure operations comply with local, national, and international HSE regulations (e.g., OSHA, EPA, ISO 45001 / 14001, API, IOGP).Liaise with regulatory authorities and prepare for audits, certifications, and inspections.Risk Management :
Oversee hazard identification, risk assessments (HIRA, HAZOP, HAZID), and control measures across projects and sites.Ensure emergency response plans (ERP) are in place, regularly tested, and updated.Incident Management :
Lead investigations of incidents, accidents, and near-misses using root cause analysis techniques.Drive implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to avoid recurrence.Training & Development :
Design and manage HSE training programs for all levels of staff and contractors.Coach and mentor HSE Officers / Advisors to build technical competence and leadership.Reporting & Performance Monitoring :
Develop and maintain HSE performance indicators and dashboards.Present reports, analyses, and recommendations to senior leadership.Track and analyze trends to proactively improve HSE performance.Project Involvement :
Provide HSE leadership during planning, execution, commissioning, and shutdown phases of oil and gas projects.Review engineering designs and contractor HSE plans for adequacy and alignment with company standards.
