Highway Materials Quality Control Specialist

Position : Material Engineer in Road & Highway Construction

Experience Required : 5–7 years minimum in highway material testing and quality control (preference for candidates with EPC project experience).

Job Overview :

We’re looking for a skilled Material Engineer experienced in highway and bridge construction projects. The role involves managing site laboratory operations, conducting material testing as per MORTH and IRC specifications, and ensuring all works meet quality and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities :

• Supervise and conduct field and laboratory testing of soil, aggregates, bitumen, concrete, and other construction materials.
• Prepare and review mix designs for GSB, WMM, CTB, BM, DBM, BC, DLC, and PQC.
• Ensure testing frequency and procedures comply with MORTH, IS, IRC, ASTM, and AASHTO standards.
• Identify, verify, and approve borrow areas and material sources.
• Calibrate and maintain lab and field testing equipment.
• Coordinate with consultants, clients, and project teams for QA / QC documentation and approvals.
• Prepare daily and weekly test reports, maintain lab records, and assist during audits and inspections.

Salary : ₹50,000 – ₹65,000 per month (depending on experience and capability)
