Job Summary :
We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to oversee reservations and outbound operations. The ideal candidate will manage a team, handle client queries and escalations, liaise with suppliers, and ensure high-quality travel reservation services. This role involves both operations and relationship management within the travel sector.
Key Responsibilities :
- Drive the overall operations of the reservations team
- Handle client enquiries and resolve escalations professionally
- Coordinate with suppliers to check availability and secure bookings
- Respond promptly to client queries and suggest optimal travel options
- Manage bookings, follow-up on confirmations, and gather post-service feedback
- Upsell additional services and offer suitable alternatives
- Maintain strong business-to-business relationships
Candidate Profile :
5–6 years of experience in the travel industry, particularly outbound reservationsDeep understanding of travel rules, aviation terminology, destination knowledge, fare structures, and industry competitionExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsProven ability to upsell, handle escalations, and manage customer expectationsSkills Required
