Job descriptionPosition : Manager – Corporate Partnerships Functional Areas : Strategic Direction | Funding | Programs | CSR | Volunteering Reporting To : Head – Corporate Partnerships & Communications United Way is the world’s oldest and largest privately funded charity, with a legacy of over 137 years and a presence in 40+ countries through 1,100+ local chapters. Globally, we mobilize nearly USD 5 billion annually and engage over 2.5 million corporate and community volunteers. Founded in 2008, United Way Bengaluru (UWBe) drives sustainable and scalable impact in urban and rural communities around Bengaluru. We collaborate with communities, institutions, corporates, and government bodies to unlock collective potential and deliver measurable social change. Enhancing access to quality education Improving healthcare services Empowering marginalized communities Promoting environmental sustainability UWBe also enables meaningful employee volunteering and CSR engagement, helping individuals and organizations create real social impact. The Manager – Corporate Relations and Volunteering will provide strategic leadership in driving corporate partnerships, fundraising, and volunteer engagement. This role involves building long-term relationships with CSR partners, foundations, and HNIs, aligning programs with partner objectives, and ensuring high-impact corporate engagement in line with UWBe’s mission. Map the funding landscape and identify new partnerships (CSR, Foundations, HNIs). Build a 3-year robust funding pipeline through strategic outreach. Initiate and manage partnerships between corporates and NGOs for funding and volunteering programs. Ensure partners understand community needs and ground realities. Align program goals with business and CSR objectives of corporate partners. Support capacity-building initiatives for partners to enhance developmental impact. Volunteering & Community Engagement Plan and execute corporate volunteering events ensuring high engagement and satisfaction. Collaborate with the Community Engagement team for seamless program implementation. Ensure adequate staffing and resource planning. Foster a collaborative, values-driven work culture. Proven negotiation and relationship-building abilities Analytical problem-solving and creative thinking Strong coaching and mentoring skills Postgraduate degree (preferably in Social Work or related field)Minimum 10 years of relevant experience, including 5+ years in the development sector Fluency in English and Hindi;
