The Vice President – Projects will be responsible for leading, planning, and overseeing the end-to-end execution of all hotel development projects—from design and approvals to construction and handover. The role requires strategic oversight, technical expertise, and stakeholder management to ensure timely delivery, cost efficiency, and quality adherence in line with brand and organizational standards.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead the full lifecycle of hotel development projects from conceptualization to completion.
- Prepare and monitor project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
- Drive the tendering, contracting, and procurement processes to ensure cost-effective execution.
- Ensure compliance with design, quality, statutory, and safety standards.
- Collaborate with architects, designers, consultants, and hospitality brand teams to align on design and operational requirements.
- Evaluate and finalize design layouts, space planning, MEP systems, and FF&E standards as per brand specifications.
- Ensure design integration between architectural, structural, and services teams.
- Liaise with internal departments (Finance, Legal, Operations) and external stakeholders (consultants, contractors, vendors, government bodies).
- Coordinate with hotel operators / brands for technical services and design approvals.
- Manage relationships with consultants, contractors, and local authorities to ensure smooth project progress.
- Develop and monitor project budgets and timelines, ensuring adherence to financial targets.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising on quality and standards.
- Approve variations and claims in coordination with the commercial and procurement teams.
- Implement robust quality control processes at all stages of construction.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Conduct periodic reviews and audits at site to track progress and resolve critical issues.
- Lead and mentor a team of project managers, engineers, and site personnel.
- Foster a culture of accountability, technical excellence, and collaboration.
- Provide strategic guidance to ensure consistent delivery across multiple projects.
