Dev Jewels Inc is a New York–based B2B diamond jewelry manufacturer serving clients across the United States. We specialize in lab-grown diamond jewelry along with natural diamond collections and work closely with retailers and brands to develop commercially relevant, well-executed collections. The merchandising team plays a key role in connecting design creativity with manufacturing feasibility and market demand.
Role Overview
The Junior Jewelry Merchandiser supports the planning, development, and execution of jewelry collections for the US B2B market. This role works closely with senior merchandisers, design, CAD, production, and sales teams to ensure collections are trend-relevant, manufacturable, cost-aligned, and delivered on time.
This position is ideal for someone early in their merchandising career who wants hands-on exposure to collection planning, concept development, costing, production coordination, and buyer support in a manufacturing-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
Collection and Product Support :
- Assist in planning jewelry collections based on market trends, buyer requirements, and internal direction
- Support assortment planning across categories, styles, and price ranges
- Help analyze past sales data to identify best sellers and slow-moving designs
- Maintain collection trackers and development status sheets
- Coordinate with design and CAD teams during new product development
Moodboard & Concept Development Support :
Assist in creating commercial moodboards for collections, drops, and buyer-specific requirementsSupport definition of : Collection themes and stories, Design direction, silhouettes, and styling references, Metal, diamond, stone, and setting preferences, Target price points and weight rangesEnsure moodboards are clearly documented and approved before design executionTrack adherence to approved concepts during the design phaseDesign & CAD coordination :
Share clear design briefs and references with design and CAD teamsReview CADs and renders with senior merchandisers for accuracy and feasibilityTrack CAD revisions, feedback, and approvalsSupport efforts to reduce rework through proper documentation and follow-upsCosting & Pricing Support :
Assist in preparing and updating cost sheets for designs and collectionsTrack metal and diamond rate changes and support pricing updatesHelp ensure costing aligns with target price points and marginsMaintain organized records of cost and pricing dataProduction & Sampling Coordination :
Coordinate with production teams for sample development and revisionsTrack sample status, approvals, and feedbackSupport quality checks and ensure product specifications are followedFlag delays, issues, or risks to senior team members earlyClient & Order support :

1–3 years of experience in jewelry merchandising, product coordination, or a related roleExposure to B2B jewelry manufacturing or export-oriented brands preferred.
