Job Title : Android SDE-2 Developer

Job Description :

We are seeking a talented Android SDE-2 Developer to join our team and play a key role in building and scaling next-generation mobile applications.

You will be responsible for delivering innovative features and optimizing user experiences through modern Android engineering practices.

Key Responsibilities :

Develop and maintain robust Android applications using Kotlin, Android Jetpack, and MVVM architecture.
Set up, manage, and optimize CI / CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Bitrise, and CircleCI.
Implement and manage Firebase services including Crashlytics, Remote Config, Cloud Messaging, and Performance Monitoring to enhance app reliability and user engagement.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product management, UI / UX design, and backend engineering to deliver seamless user experiences.
Optimize application performance, scalability, and security to ensure best-in-class mobile experiences.
Participate actively in code reviews, promote best coding practices, and mentor junior developers to foster team growth.
Stay abreast of the latest trends and advancements in Android development and InsurTech to continuously improve skills and contribute innovative ideas.

Requirements :

3 to 8 years of professional Android development experience, with at least 2 years working extensively with Kotlin and modern Android architectures (MVVM, Jetpack).

Strong hands-on experience with CI / CD tools and pipeline management to streamline development workflows.

Proficiency in implementing and leveraging Firebase services and mobile analytics platforms such as Google / Firebase Analytics and Mixpanel.

Experience working with REST APIs and related libraries such as Retrofit and OkHttp.

Expertise in modular app development to enable scalable and maintainable codebases.

Familiarity with Google Play Store release management, including beta distribution and rollout strategies.

Deep understanding of code quality practices, including unit testing, code reviews, linting, and automated testing.

Experience in regulated industries such as insurance, fintech, or related domains is a strong plus.
