Mechanical Maintenance

Key Purpose of the Job :

The Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for hands on mechanical maintenance of machinery, equipment used in production lines. The role holder is responsible for attending to breakdowns and ensure machine availability. Conducting Preventive Maintenance and repair services as per plan and schedule is critical to the role holder.

Educational Qualification / Experience required :

• Diploma in Engineering, in Mechanical discipline
• Experience of around 4 to 6 years from Maintenance function from manufacturing sector
• Should possess hands on experience in mechanical maintenance and repairs operations

Key Responsibilities :

1. Responsible for conducting mechanical repairs and maintenance services for production machine and equipment breakdowns with immediate effect

2. Conduct preventive maintenance and repair services as per Preventive Maintenance schedule and plan

3. Track and monitor availability of maintenance spares and spares inventory

4. Participate in improvement initiatives and cost reduction projects in the function

5. Responsible for supervising Blue collar associates
