Job Description – Hydraulic Design Engineer (Wet Utility Services)

We are seeking an experienced

Hydraulic Design Engineer

with

10+ years of expertise

in designing and managing

Infrastructure Wet Utility Services , including

Water Supply, Storm Water, Drainage, Sewage Treatment Plants (STP), and Effluent Treatment Plants (ETP) . The ideal candidate should possess strong technical knowledge, design capabilities, and project management skills across large-scale national and international infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities :

Lead and manage the design of wet utility services for infrastructure projects.

Develop hydraulic designs for

water supply, storm water, drainage, STP, ETP, and related systems .

Prepare design reports, calculations, drawings, and technical specifications.

Review and validate designs for compliance with international / national standards and project requirements.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including civil, structural, MEP, and environmental engineers.

Coordinate with clients, consultants, and contractors for design approvals and project execution.

Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and quality control to junior design engineers.

Conduct site visits, design reviews, and resolve technical challenges during project implementation.

Ensure sustainability, cost-effectiveness, and innovative solutions in hydraulic designs.

Requirements :

Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.

10+ years of proven experience

in hydraulic design for

wet utility services .

Strong knowledge of international and national design codes and standards (e.g., AWWA, BIS, CPHEEO).

Proficiency in design software such as

WaterGEMS, SewerGEMS, StormCAD, AutoCAD, Civil 3D

or equivalent.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Experience in handling

large-scale infrastructure projects

such as

residential townships, industrial parks, airports, and urban developments .
