$1M funding round led by Soma Capital with top Silicon Valley angels, we’re hiring a passionate Junior Software Engineer to help build the next phase of our development as we expand to new markets. This fully remote role is a fantastic opportunity to grow your skills and get exposure to an exciting, fast-moving Silicon Valley startup, all while working IST hours.

What you’ll do

• Collaborate with senior engineers and designers to understand technical requirements for new features and system improvements.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-tested code to implement discrete features and tasks, such as building out components of our routing and cost-calculation algorithms.
• Learn our existing codebase and architecture under the guidance and mentorship of the senior team.
• Assist in debugging and troubleshooting to resolve software defects and improve performance.
• Participate in code reviews to learn best practices, share your work, and maintain a high-quality codebase.
• Partner with our on-the-ground operations staff to understand user needs and help implement effective technical solutions.
