Key Responsibilities :
Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) :
Assist in preparing annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-term financial plansMonitor and report on budget variances, providing explanations and actionable insightsBuild financial models to support strategic initiatives and investment decisionsReporting & Insights :
Generate monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc financial reports for management and stakeholdersAnalyze financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) to identify trends and risksTrack key financial KPIs such as revenue, margins, cost structures, and working capitalData Analysis & Modeling :
Develop complex Excel-based financial models for scenario analysis, valuation, and forecastingWork with large data sets to support cost analysis, pricing strategy, and business performance reviewsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and validate financial and operational dataBusiness Support :
Support internal business units with financial insights to guide operational and strategic decisionsEvaluate project and business case feasibility using ROI, NPV, IRR, and other financial metricsAssist with financial due diligence for potential partnerships, M&A, or vendor negotiationsRequired Skills & Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (MBA / CFA is a plus)4-5 years of relevant experience as a Financial Analyst or in a similar finance roleStrong knowledge of financial modeling, forecasting, and budgetingProficient in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions, pivot tables, and chartingStrong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skillsExcellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple prioritiesStrong communication skills to present findings clearly to non-finance stakeholders(ref : iimjobs.com)
