Job Summary :

As a Commis 1, you will be responsible for preparing, cooking, and presenting high-quality dishes within your section. You’ll support senior chefs in daily kitchen operations and help maintain high hygiene and food safety standards.

Key Responsibilities :

Assist in the preparation and presentation of food under the guidance of senior chefs.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and kitchen areas.

Follow recipes and techniques to ensure consistency in food preparation.

Ensure food is stored and prepared in compliance with health and safety regulations.

Assist in receiving and checking the quality of ingredients and supplies.

Communicate effectively with team members and contribute to a positive kitchen culture.

Be proactive in learning and improving culinary skills.

Requirements :

Previous experience in a professional kitchen (1–2 years preferred).

Culinary diploma or relevant certification is an advantage.

Basic knowledge of kitchen equipment, hygiene, and safety standards.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow instructions precisely.

Strong teamwork and time management skills.
