We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive HR Operation Manager to manage the end-to-end HR operations, ensure statutory compliance, oversee payroll inputs, and conduct background verification processes. The ideal candidate will also support and implement PoSH (Prevention of Sexual Harassment) initiatives, fostering a compliant and inclusive workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities :
HR Operations Management :
- Manage day-to-day HR operations including employee lifecycle activities (onboarding, exits, documentation, HRIS updates).
- Maintain accurate employee records and ensure timely updates in HR systems.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth HR service delivery.
Statutory Compliance :
Ensure adherence to all applicable labour laws and statutory requirements (PF, ESI, Gratuity, Shops & Establishment, etc.).Liaise with external agencies and government authorities for timely filings and audits.Keep abreast of updates in employment laws and recommend process improvements.Payroll Input Oversight :
Collect and verify payroll input data including attendance, leave, and salary revisions.Coordinate with the finance / payroll team to ensure accurate and timely salary processing.Support audits and maintain payroll-related documentation.Background Verification :
Oversee and manage background verification for new hires in coordination with third-party vendors.Ensure all verification reports are complete, accurate, and stored securely.Maintain confidentiality and compliance with data protection standards.PoSH Initiatives :
Support and implement the organization's PoSH policy and initiatives.Coordinate with the Internal Committee and assist in awareness and training sessions.Ensure compliance with statutory requirements under the PoSH Act.Required Skills and Experience :
Strong understanding of HR operations and employee lifecycle management.Proven experience ensuring statutory compliance and managing related filings.Hands-on experience with payroll systems and HRIS tools.Meticulous attention to detail, especially in background verification and documentation.Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information responsibly.Experience in implementing or managing PoSH initiatives.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong organizational and interpersonal abilities.Proactive problem-solving and stakeholder management.Qualifications :
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources Management , Business Administration , or a related field.Professional certifications in HR or labour law compliance are an added advantage.Skills Required
