Job Description : Finance Head

Reports to : General Manager / Managing Director
Drive strategic and operational leadership of finance functions for Banqueting & Catering businesses in Chandigarh, ensuring compliance, profitability, and process excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all financial activities, including budgeting, forecasting, MIS reporting, and financial planning for banquet and catering operations.
- Lead and manage accounts, payables / receivables, cost control, revenue optimization, and internal controls.
- Review and analyze P&L, cash flows, and operational metrics specific to banquet and catering projects.
- Ensure statutory compliance with GST, TDS, income tax, and other regulations; coordinate with auditors and tax authorities.
- Implement financial best practices, controls, and ERP systems tailored to banqueting / catering.
- Partner with operations and sales teams to plan profitable events, track margins, and control expenses.
- Support leadership in decision-making with clear financial analysis and recommendations.
- Mentor and supervise the finance team; drive a culture of continuous process improvement and financial integrity.
- Manage vendor contracts, payment cycles, and timely disbursements to suppliers and service partners.
- Conduct variance analysis, highlight cost-saving opportunities, and implement corrective CA / MBA (Finance) or equivalent, with experience in Minimum 8-12 years of overall finance experience, including at least 4 years in a leadership role.
- Strong expertise in budgeting, compliance, MIS, financial modeling, event / catering cost controls.
- Proficiency in Tally, SAP, or hospitality ERP systems.
- Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
- High integrity and process orientation; experience in audit and statutory reporting.
