Job description

As the Marketing Manager, you will be leading the client based project marketing. You will lead a dedicated team of content writers and designers responsible for the success of a portfolio of hackathons and innovation challenges. This is a hands-on managerial role that requires a blend of strategic campaigns designing, planning, flawless execution, and team mentorship. You will be the go-to expert for ensuring that every project you own hits its registration, engagement, and awareness goals.

What You'll Do

  • Campaign Strategy & Ownership : Develop and own the end-to-end marketing strategy

for assigned projects. Define the target audience, craft compelling messaging, and

determine the optimal channel mix to drive registrations and engagement.

  • Multi-Channel Execution : Lead your team in executing high-impact marketing
  • campaigns across various channels, including :

  • Digital Advertising : Manage budgets and execution for paid campaigns on
  • platforms like Google Ads, LinkedIn, and other social media.

  • Email Marketing : Oversee the creation of email nurture sequences, promotional
  • mailers, and newsletters, utilizing segmentation and A / B testing to maximize

    effectiveness.

  • Social Media & Content : Guide the content strategy and social media promotion
  • for each project to build hype and engage the community.

  • Team Leadership & Mentorship : Manage and mentor a team of project marketers.
  • Assign projects, set clear performance goals (KPIs), provide regular feedback, and foster

    their professional growth.

  • Stakeholder Collaboration : Serve as the primary marketing point of contact for internal
  • Program Managers. Work in lockstep with them to understand project goals, client

    expectations, and timelines, ensuring marketing efforts are perfectly aligned with project

    milestones.

  • Performance Analysis & Reporting : Establish a data-driven culture within your team.
  • Track, analyze, and report on key campaign metrics (e.g., Cost Per Registration,

    Click-Through Rate, Conversion Rate, Channel Performance) to stakeholders, using

    insights to optimize current and future campaigns.

  • Budget Management : Manage and allocate marketing budgets for your portfolio of
  • projects, ensuring maximum ROI and efficient use of resources.

    You Should Have

  • Proven Marketing Experience : 5-7 years of experience in digital marketing, with a
  • strong focus on campaign management and user acquisition.

  • Hands-On Channel Expertise : Demonstrated, hands-on experience managing paid
  • advertising campaigns (Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Meta Ads), email marketing platforms

    (e.g., Mailchimp, SendGrid), and social media marketing.

  • Leadership & Mentorship : Prior experience leading a small team or directly mentoring
  • junior marketers is essential. You should be passionate about developing talent.

  • Data-Driven Mindset : A strong analytical background with the ability to dive into data,
  • pull out actionable insights, and use tools like Google Analytics to measure performance.

  • Exceptional Project Management : The ability to juggle multiple projects, priorities, and
  • deadlines simultaneously without sacrificing quality. You thrive in a fast-paced,

    project-based environment.

  • Strong Communication Skills : Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with
  • the ability to effectively manage expectations with internal stakeholders.

  • Bonus Points : Experience marketing to developers, students, or in the
  • tech / Ed-Tech / HR-Tech space is a significant advantage.
