Job Summary

As a

Senior Sales Executive at Bar Code India, you will act as a vital link between customer needs and our cutting-edge AIDC (Automatic Identification and Data Capture) solutions. Your role will involve pre- and post-sales engagement, technical consultation, solution presentations, and driving hardware & Software sales including barcode scanners, printers, RFID systems, and associated software.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the sales team to understand client needs and recommend customized solutions involving barcode scanners, printers, RFID hardware, and software.
  • Deliver engaging product demonstrations and presentations, simplifying technical features for decision-makers.
  • Provide technical support throughout the sales cycle, including system integration guidance and post-sales troubleshooting.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships, identifying opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and long-term partnerships.
  • Prepare technical proposals and respond to RFPs, contributing to successful contract closures.
  • Communicate customer feedback to product and service teams to influence future enhancements.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies in barcode and RFID.
  • Achieve individual sales targets and contribute to regional business development efforts.

Requirements

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Electronics, or a related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in Senior Sales Executive, technical sales, or solution sales within the AIDC, barcode, RFID, or Pharma sector.
  • Hands-on knowledge of barcode technologies, RFID systems, industrial printers / scanners, and related software.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Customer-focused attitude and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel locally and regionally for client meetings and demos.
  • Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with ERP, WMS, or inventory management system integration.
  • Health insurance coverage.
  • Understanding of barcode symbologies, RFID protocols, and industry standards.
  • Experience with CRM tools and sales enablement platforms.
  • Exposure to automation systems, including machine vision cameras and IoT-based solutions, is a strong plus.
