Head - Purpose :
The Head of Finance is responsible for leading the financial strategy, planning, and management of the organization. This role ensures robust financial health, regulatory compliance, risk management, and efficient resource allocation to support strategic business goals. The Finance Head will play a key leadership role, working closely with senior management and stakeholders to drive financial performance and business growth.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Financial Strategy & Planning :
- Develop and implement the company's financial strategy in alignment with corporate objectives.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning & analytics processes.
- Provide strategic financial insights to support decision-making at the executive level.
2. Financial Management & Reporting :
Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with local and international accounting standards.Manage cash flow, working capital, and liquidity to ensure business continuity.3. Compliance & Risk Management :
Ensure full compliance with tax laws, financial regulations, and statutory requirements.Liaise with external auditors, tax authorities, and regulatory bodies.Identify and mitigate financial and operational risks through effective controls and policies.4. Cost Control & Efficiency :
Monitor and control operational costs to improve financial efficiency.Lead cost-benefit analysis, pricing strategy, and financial modelling for new projects or investments.Drive initiatives to optimize financial performance across departments.5. Team Leadership & Development :
Build and lead a high-performing finance team, including accounting, treasury, tax, and internal audit functions.Promote a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and professional development within the finance team.6. Business Partnering :
Collaborate with heads of departments to provide financial guidance and support for business initiatives.Play an advisory role in strategic projects such as M&A, expansions, and capital investments.Key Requirements :
Education : Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics; CPA, CA, ACCA, or MBA (Finance) preferred.Experience : Minimum 10-15 years of progressive experience in finance roles, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.Industry : Experience in FMCG, Manufacturing, Retail services.Strong knowledge of financial systems SAP, Oracle, ERP, PowerBI, etcKey Skills & Competencies :
