Role Overview :

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Media Associate to join our communications team. The role involves daily media monitoring, research, and PR tracking to support strategic communications and media intelligence for clients. The ideal candidate will have a keen interest in news, politics, and public affairs, and the ability to analyse media trends critically.

Key Responsibilities :

Track and compile daily news coverage across print, digital, and broadcast platforms.
Identify and summarise key stories, trends, and issues relevant to clients and sectors.
Conduct media research, including journalist profiling and publication mapping.
Manage media databases and track brand mentions, competitor visibility, and sentiment.
Draft and distribute press releases, statements, and op-eds for client communication.
Coordinate with journalists and media houses for outreach, story placements, and follow-ups.
Prepare concise media intelligence reports and support client presentations.
Collaborate with PR and communications teams for tracking, analysis, and documentation.

Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, Political Science, or a related field.

1–2 years of experience in media monitoring, PR research, or communications (freshers with strong skills may apply).

Excellent command of English and Hindi; proficiency in a regional language is a plus.

Strong analytical, research, and writing skills with high attention to detail.

Familiarity with media monitoring tools and online news databases.

Proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets, PowerPoint, and digital media tools.

Interest in current affairs, political trends, and the evolving media landscape.
