We are seeking a skilled and experienced Ab Initio Developer to join our data engineering team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining ETL processes using Ab Initio, supporting large-scale data integration and transformation initiatives.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and high-performance solutions aligned with business Responsibilities :

• Design, develop, test, and deploy ETL pipelines using Ab Initio components such as GDE, Conduct>It, and Express>It.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications and ETL workflows.
• Optimize and troubleshoot Ab Initio graphs and workflows to ensure performance and reliability.
• Perform data validation, profiling, and quality checks.
• Work with data analysts, architects, and business users to understand source systems and target data models.
• Support production deployments, monitor jobs, and resolve incidents and issues.
• Maintain documentation for ETL processes and support knowledge Skills and Qualifications :
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Ab Initio ETL development.
• Strong expertise in Graphical Development Environment (GDE) and Conduct>It.
• Proficiency in working with relational databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, Teradata) and writing complex SQL queries.
• Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, data modeling, and ETL best practices.
• Experience in performance tuning and debugging ETL jobs.
• Familiarity with Unix / Linux shell scripting.
• Good understanding of data quality and data governance principles.
