Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Veterinarian based in Chennai. The Senior Veterinarian will be responsible for diagnosing and treating medical conditions, performing surgeries, and providing preventive care consultations. Additional responsibilities include supervising clinical staff, mentoring junior veterinarians, and collaborating with the hospital's specialists across various disciplines. The Senior Veterinarian will also maintain accurate medical records, communicate effectively with pet owners, and uphold the hospital's commitment to high-quality patient-centred care.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in diagnosing and treating companion animals, including small animal internal medicine and general surgery.
• Advanced surgical skills, with expertise in soft tissue and orthopedic procedures being an advantage.
• Exceptional communication skills to educate pet owners and collaborate with a diverse team of veterinary professionals.
• Outstanding leadership capabilities, with experience in mentoring and supervising clinical teams.
• M V Sc or PhD veterinary degree with a valid license to practice in India. Postgraduate specialization or certifications are a plus.
• Willingness to work in an on-site role based in Bengaluru.
