About The Role :
Contifys MCI platform is a delivery platform for market intelligence data. The real Contify product is the data that customers use to make informed decisions. We are looking for a high-performing data and analytics professional driven by passion and purpose, to drive quality standards and support end-to-end development of actionable, high-impact data sets for Contify customers across industries and geographies.
You must be passionate about data : understand its business value, be comfortable with large-volume data, use statistical techniques, implement standards and best practices to maintain data integrity.
Job Description deals with both structured and unstructured data. Structured data includes firmographics, people profiles, financial data, etc. Unstructured data includes text such as news, social media, blogs, and metadata such as industries, business events, strategic signals, etc. Youll be required to :
- Develop and implement strategies to identify gaps in data quality and also to improve data quality across all Contify data sets.
- Define metadata standards and guidelines, and develop processes to ensure their consistent implementation.
- Perform regular analysis and report the data quality performance against various KPI.
- Design and develop new datasets by connecting unstructured and structured data.
- Provide manually curated data sets to the ML team and software engineers to help them develop ML models, which will be used to extract the data from unstructured text automatically.
- Lead, coach, support, and mentor data team members to set up their KRAs, review their work as required, and provide adequate guidance to help them achieve their goals.
Requirements :
Bachelor's degree in an information technology / computer science or relevant domain.0 to 2 years of experience with at least three years in data analytics, business intelligence, and visualization.Experience in any BI Tools : Tableau / Power BI / SSRS or Excel and demonstrate understanding of how relational databases work.Experience in B2B information products, knowledge management, search technologies, and platforms will be an added advantage.Strong analytical, technical, and statistical skills, high conceptual problem-solving, comfort in dealing with unstructured data.Knowledge in Data Science / Data Engineering / Data Governance would be a plus.Technical Skills :
Proficient in SQL, Python, Tableau / Power BI, and ETL processes, with strong expertise in Data Modeling, Data Quality, and Governance.Skilled in Metadata Management, Relational Databases (MySQL / PostgreSQL), and REST APIs / JSON integration.Experienced with JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, HTML5, and Angular, with additional exposure to Machine Learning data preparation and automation workflows.(ref : hirist.tech)
