Job descriptionStrong hands-on design experience in hydraulics systems / components. Proficiency in Creo and understanding of hydraulic schematics. Knowledge of material properties, hose fittings, and manufacturing processes. Good analytical & problem-solving skills.
Senior Engineer - Hydraulics Installation
We are looking for a Hydraulics Design Engineer to work on installation and design of hydraulic systems for large mining products (Trucks, Loaders, Scrapers, Underground equipment, etc.).
This role involves concept development, component / system design, supplier collaboration, and supporting builds / testing at site.
Location : Chennai / Bengaluru
Experience : 4-10 years
Key Responsibilities :
- Hose / tube & mounting bracket design in Creo.
- Hydraulic component placement, routing, and system integration.
- Interpret and troubleshoot hydraulic schematics.
- Support prototype / pilot builds and on-machine tests.
- Validate hydraulic components & perform design calculations.
- Bolted joint analysis & FEA (Creo Simulate or equivalent).
- Apply APQP, GD&T, and BOM management.
- Collaborate with global teams and suppliers, support NPI and aftermarket.
