Role Overview :

We are looking for a highly skilled Mechanical Design Engineer (HVAC Systems) with strong expertise in CATIA V5 and plastic injection molded component design . The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and developing HVAC components, meeting automotive standards, and ensuring manufacturability through DFM / DFA principles. This role requires strong technical depth, CAD proficiency, and hands-on experience in product design lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Design 3D CAD models for plastic injection molded parts using CATIA V5 R24
  • Create part designs using constrained sketches and Boolean operations
  • Work using multi-skeleton methodology in product structures
  • Develop HVAC components complying with DFM / DFA standards
  • Prepare technical proposals, design reports, and presentations
  • Create detailed engineering drawings with GD&T
  • Conduct tolerance stack-up analysis
  • Perform vehicle packaging investigations and concept development
  • Conduct self-checks for CAD quality and design optimization
  • Manage design data using PLM systems
  • Ensure on-time delivery of design tasks within project budget

    • Mandatory Skills

  • Expertise in CATIA V5 – Part Design, Assembly, and Drafting
  • Strong hands-on experience in HVAC component design
  • Knowledge of Injection Molding / Casting manufacturing processes
  • Strong understanding of GD&T (ISO Geometric Tolerancing)
  • Experience in tolerance stack-up analysis
  • Knowledge of DFM / DFA and automotive design standards
  • Strong engineering fundamentals and analytical skills
