We are seeking a skilled and proactive VMware Administrator to manage, monitor, and maintain our virtualized environments. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in VMware technologies including vSphere, vCenter, ESXi, and related tools to ensure high availability, performance, and scalability of our virtual infrastructure.

This role involves collaborating with IT teams to support business continuity, optimize system performance, and implement security and disaster recovery strategies.

• Administer, maintain, and monitor VMware vSphere environments, including vCenter, ESXi hosts, and virtual machines (VMs).
• Create, configure, and deploy virtual machines, templates, snapshots, and resource pools as needed.
• Monitor system performance, analyze logs, and troubleshoot issues related to CPU, memory, storage, and network within the virtual infrastructure.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards by applying security patches, updates, and maintaining access controls.
• Implement and manage backup strategies, disaster recovery plans, and replication solutions using tools like Veeam, Zerto, or similar.
• Analyze resource utilization trends and plan for future capacity needs to ensure infrastructure scalability.
• Maintain accurate documentation of configurations, procedures, and changes. Generate performance and capacity reports as required.
• Provide L2 / L3 technical support and assist with infrastructure maintenance activities during off-hours when necessary.
• Automate routine tasks using PowerCLI, PowerShell, or other scripting tools to improve operational efficiency.
