Tool Administration

Required Skills & Experience

3–5 years in IT monitoring / observability platforms, with at least 2+ years hands-on with

ScienceLogic SL1 .

Strong knowledge of :

SL1 architecture, collectors, and PowerPacks

SNMP, WMI, SSH, API-based data collection

Event policies and escalation rules

Dashboard / report creation in SL1

Integration experience with

ServiceNow

or similar ITSM tools.

Expertise in tuning alerts and reducing noise.

Familiarity with hybrid IT monitoring (On-prem, AWS, Azure, GCP).

Hands-on scripting experience ( Python, PowerShell, Bash ) for automation.

Understanding of

ITIL processes

(Incident, Change, Problem).

Knowledge of

MariaDB troubleshooting and fixes .
