Rotating Equipment Engineer

Job descriptionSpecify and select rotating equipment (pumps, compressors, turbines) based on system requirements. Ok Properly size and integrate rotating equipment into overall system designs. Ok Complete design and detailed engineering of rotary equipment as per relevant Api codes and standards (api, asme, iso, Ansi). Work with cross-disciplinary teams (piping, electrical, structural engineers) to ensure seamless integration of equipment. Liaise with equipment manufacturers to ensure products meet technical and quality specifications. Oversee equipment installation and commissioning, ensuring proper functionality during startup. Develop and implement preventive maintenance plans to extend the life and reliability of rotating machinery. Investigate failures and recommend corrective actions to prevent future issues. Ensure designs and operations meet safety regulations and minimize environmental impact (e.g., emissions, noise, energy efficiency). Participation in client / contractor meetings and resolving client / engineering technical issues.
