Job descriptionTotal Experience is min 2yrs in BESS. A bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering, or a relevant engineering field. Candidates completed Ph.D. in similar lines are also welcome. Ability to read and comprehend electrical and mechanical schematics, technical manuals, procedures, and regulations. Electrical knowledge / training experience of at least three years in BESS. Must have good organization, communication, analytical, planning, time management and customer service skills. Competent skills using Microsoft office software like Outlook, Excel, Word. Client management, team management and process management skills. Know-how on other electrical and PV software’s is an added advantage.
Job Roles & Responsibilities
- Electrical design of battery-based energy storage systems and know-how on PCS, BMS, EMS and SCADA designs.
- Familiarity with applicable codes, standards and regulations in USA.
- Due diligence and owner’s engineer experience where you take the lead to review technical documents and installations to determine their compliance.
- Knowledge on fundamental aspects and main characteristics of current battery technologies and relate them to battery parameters.
- Prepare FAT and integration test plan for BESS systems. Technical review of documents provided by vendors.
- Project management of bids and projects throughout their life cycle.
- Perform electrical testing using appropriate PPE and procedures
- Attend training sessions on equipment as provided by the manufacturer and approved by manager.
