Sr. Program Manager, FinOps

This role requires one to be a self-starter with good business modeling skills, keen attention to detail and good track record of collaborating with diverse stakeholders. This role has regular interaction with senior leadership and stakeholders across Amazon and requires good verbal and written communication skills. The candidate will need to be capable of operating with a high degree of autonomy and hence needs to demonstrate a high degree of comfort with ambiguity besides holding a high bar on performance. The candidate will need to have a proven track record for hiring, developing and retaining the best talent.

Key job responsibilities

Learn and stay current with technical developments in the field of Automation Technology and including Amazon AI services.

Lead a team of highly talented RPA and automation engineers responsible for managing all aspects of mission-critical systems

Partner with business stakeholder and product managers around automation technology / RPA capability communication / articulation, translate technical jargon and methodologies to business absorb able language

Research and drive new and innovative AI / ML approaches

Enforce a high bar for operational excellence of the team's services

Recruit high performing team members, and provide them mentorship and coaching

Establish team mechanisms for project planning, product development, engineering excellence, operational excellence, and team building mechanisms.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, analytics, mathematics, statistics, IT or equivalent
• 7+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience
• 7-10+ years of leadership experience in managing large a team of engineers who automate processes - Experience with one or more RPA technologies (E.g. : Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism, UiPath, Amazon Q, Amazon Diamond Toolkit framework) and ability to integrate to in-house platforms.
• Good consulting mindset working with Sr Managers, Directors and ability to build, lead and guide technical and business teams.
• Collaborative conflict resolution experience and ability to navigate the complex business environment to drive decisions
• Demonstrated leadership experience in hiring, leading, motivating, and developing teams. Should have managed a team at least for 3-5 years
