About Zeno
An unprecedented energy transition has begun. To meet 2040 net zero goals, over 2 billion electric two-wheelers (motorcycles) must be sold and $11 trillion in fuel consumption replaced. Zeno is building a tech platform to electrify this two-wheeler market, currently responsible for more than 4% of the world’s GHG emissions. Our mission is to accelerate the energy transition and democratize the benefits across Africa, India, and Latin America. With a focus on East Africa as a starting point, Zeno is building a new energy ecosystem with ground-up development of a fundamentally better electric motorcycle and associated battery swap network to drive a better experience for our customers.
The Role
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Software Program Manager to join our fast-moving automotive technology team. This role is ideal for someone early in their program management journey who wants to work closely with software engineers, cross-functional teams, and technical leads to ensure projects are on track, well-documented, and moving forward.
You’ll act as the connective tissue between the software team and other stakeholders like validation, charging infrastructure, systems integration, and product. - Own and maintain project tracking systems for embedded and application software deliverables.
- Regularly update and communicate status, risks, and timelines across stakeholders.
- Collaborate with engineering leads to ensure sprint goals and milestones are defined and met.
- Track cross-functional dependencies (validation, charging systems, hardware integration, etc.) and follow up to close gaps.
- Help organize and maintain project documentation, specs, release notes, and trackers.
- Proactively identify where work is falling through the cracks – and jump in to fix it.
- Be flexible and hands-on; not everything will be defined – you’ll help create process where needed.
What We’re Looking For :
3–5 years of technical experience, ideally in software development, QA, hardware-software integration, or technical project management.Strong organizational and communication skills – able to create clarity and alignment without needing authority.Experience working with software teams using Agile / Scrum methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Trello, Excel, etc.).Understanding of embedded systems, automotive ECUs, validation cycles, or system integration is a plus.Strong attention to detail and willingness to keep programs on track.High adaptability – comfortable working in ambiguous or fast-changing environments.Eagerness to learn, grow, and make an impact in an early-stage team.Nice to Have :

Competitive salary based on experience.Company-sponsored healthcare plan.Opportunity to build core technology at the heart of the EV revolution.Join a global team of engineers, operators, and entrepreneurs driving the trillion-dollar transition of two-wheelers to electric.
