Principal Engineer - SaaS Platform

Position Summary :

(This position requires you to be hands on in the development. If you are people manager, this is not the right fit).

We're seeking a hands-on Principal Engineer to drive complex technical projects with direct revenue impact. You'll lead development of innovative solutions while bringing strong DevOps expertise and customer-centric thinking to our enterprise SaaS platform.

Key Responsibilities :

Technical Leadership :

Architect and implement high-value technical solutions that drive revenue growth
Lead development of innovative features that solve enterprise customer pain points
Establish technical standards and best practices for engineering excellence

DevOps & Infrastructure :

Drive DevOps practices across engineering with focus on CI / CD and automation

Design cloud infrastructure balancing performance, reliability, and cost

Implement robust monitoring and incident management processes

AI & Automation :

Integrate AI capabilities to enhance product value and development efficiency

Develop automation strategies to improve scalability and reliability

Leverage AI tools to solve complex technical challenges

Required Qualifications :

10-15 years software engineering with 5+ years in enterprise SaaS environments

Strong DevOps expertise (CI / CD, infrastructure as code, cloud architecture)

Expert-level backend development skills (Node.js, TypeScript, Microservices)

Experience implementing AI and automation in production systems

Proven enterprise incident management and resolution experience

Customer-centric approach with strong learning agility

Track record of projects with direct business impact
