Job Summary :

A Bartender is responsible for preparing and serving alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages to customers at a bar or restaurant. The role requires excellent customer service skills knowledge of drink recipes and the ability to work efficiently in a fastpaced environment. Bartenders must create a welcoming atmosphere interact with customers and ensure that patrons have a positive experience.

Key Responsibilities :

Customer Service : Greet customers take drink orders and engage in friendly conversation. Provide recommendations on drink selection when needed. Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.

Drink Preparation : Mix and serve drinks according to standard recipes or customer requests. Ensure that all beverages are prepared and served to company standards.

Maintain Cleanliness : Keep the bar area clean and organized including washing glassware wiping down counters and restocking supplies. Ensure all bar tools and equipment are in good working order.

Cash Handling : Accurately handle cash transactions including processing payments (cash credit card etc.) giving change and managing tabs. Ensure proper cash drawer reconciliation at the end of the shift.

Stock Management : Monitor and maintain inventory levels of alcoholic beverages mixers and supplies. Notify the manager when stock is running low and assist with ordering as needed.

Safety and Compliance : Adhere to all local state and federal regulations regarding alcohol service. Check IDs to verify customers are of legal drinking age. Monitor and manage intoxicated patrons ensuring a safe environment.

Bartender Etiquette : Maintain a professional demeanor and appearance. Handle customer complaints or concerns with diplomacy and efficiency.

Team Collaboration : Work closely with kitchen and wait staff to ensure a seamless experience for guests. Communicate effectively with team members and managers to ensure smooth operations.
