Metalegal Advocates is seeking an Associate (Advocate) to join our corporate and commercial law practice. The role will primarily involve advising clients on corporate, commercial, technology, and regulatory laws, while also supporting clients in dispute resolution and litigation processes.
Key Responsibilities :
- Advise clients on corporate, commercial, technology, and regulatory laws.
- Provide legal counsel to startups on issues related to incorporation, fundraising, intellectual property, contracts, and regulatory compliance.
- Draft and review contracts, agreements, advisories, and related legal documents.
- Handle investigations involving multiple investigative agencies.
- Assist clients in dispute resolution and litigation, including drafting pleadings, replies, appeals, etc.
- Conduct legal research and contribute to writing articles / white papers.
- Opportunities to represent clients before various forums based on experience.

Requirements
A qualified advocate with an LLB degree. Ideally, 0-1 years of post-qualification experience (PQE). A keen interest in learning and practicing diverse areas of law, especially litigation advisory in criminal and civil law, tax law, and matrimonial law. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple cases and work in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in drafting legal documents and performing legal research.
