Job Overview

Podar Education Network is seeking a dedicated Administrative Officer for its branch in Titwala. This is a full-time, mid-level position requiring a minimum of 4 years of work experience in administrative roles. The ideal candidate will have strong administrative skills, experience with document management systems, and proficiency in managing logistics and supervisory tasks within educational settings.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Candidates must possess strong administrative skills to efficiently handle office operations and facilitate smooth communication within departments (Mandatory skill).
  • A bachelors degree is required, along with a minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience in administration or a related field.
  • Proficiency in document management systems is necessary for effectively organizing, storing, and retrieving institutional records and documents.
  • Capability to oversee and manage housekeeping activities ensuring an orderly and hygienic environment across the educational premises is essential.
  • Experience in transport supervision to manage transportation logistics, ensuring the safety and timeliness of student and staff commutes.
  • Strong management skills to lead and coordinate tasks efficiently, ensuring organizational goals are met and exceeded consistently.
  • Effective logistics management expertise to handle the supply chain, materials distribution, and logistics for institutional operations.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced educational environment.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily administrative operations, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and contribute to the institution's smooth functioning.
  • Facilitate effective communication within departments and with external partners, improving institutional workflows and processes.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records in the document management system, ensuring all entries are current and compliant with institutional policies.
  • Supervise housekeeping activities across facilities to maintain a clean, organized, and presentable environment for students and staff.
  • Coordinate transportation logistics to ensure efficient, safe, and timely transit for students and staff commuting to and from the institution.
  • Implement and oversee logistical operations, optimizing the flow of goods and resources to support institutional activities.
  • Assist in managing budgets and financial plans, ensuring resource allocation aligns with institutional priorities and regulations.
  • Participate in strategic planning and development of policies that support organizational growth and enhance educational processes.
