Job descriptionTo develop deep customer insights for our businesses helping them segment and target customers more effectively To develop a fact based understanding of sales trends and identify actionable sales growth opportunities for each of our sales channels To understand customer preferences in terms of products, service attributes and marketing activity to help refine each of these To help develop new services lines - develop customer analytics for key IFAs, DC Clients, Individual clients etc. To develop market and competitive intelligence in our key markets to help shape our business planning in those markets The function works directly with business heads and other senior stakeholder's to identify areas of analytics, define problem statements and develop key insights. The Analyst is responsible for delivering actionable insights that inform business decision-making across functions such as Sales, Marketing, Products & Investments, Investor Servicing, and Operations. This role goes beyond routine reporting, providing opportunities to interpret data, uncover trends, and contribute to the storytelling of business impact. Working in a pod-based structure, the Analyst will partner with senior colleagues to translate data into meaningful insights, while building a strong foundation in advanced analytics, stakeholder communication, and strategic thinking. Analyse data to identify patterns, opportunities, and risks, going beyond "what happened" to "why it happened" and "what should be done. Create clear, compelling data stories and visualisations tailored to business audiences. Contribute to presentations for senior stakeholders, ensuring insights are actionable and relevant. Strategic Analysis & Business Impact Support pods in designing and running small-scale analytics projects that demonstrate business impact ( product growth, sales drivers, client behaviour, client experience, retention analysis). Assist in evaluating KPIs and performance metrics, linking insights to business outcomes. Participate in hypothesis testing, segmentation analysis, and other techniques under guidance from senior colleagues. Work across 1-2 business functions within a pod, balancing BAU delivery with strategic analysis. Collaborate with Senior colleagues to scope business questions and translate them into analysis plans. Document insights, methodologies, and business implications to ensure consistency and reusability. Build and maintain dashboards and recurring reports with a focus on quality and efficiency. Streamline recurring analysis to free time for higher-value insight generation. Transition manual processes into automated solutions wherever possible. Develop advanced analytics capabilities (predictive modelling, machine learning basics) through structured learning and exposure to real projects. Engage in knowledge-sharing sessions to learn business context and stakeholder management skills. Actively seek feedback and demonstrate progression toward higher-value analysis roles. Experience of working with JIRA AGILE framework Knowledge of Data Science concepts will be an additional benefit Knowledge of Cloud technologies. AWS and Snowflake preferred. About You :
Experience & Qualifications required :
Bachelor's / Master's in Analytics, Statistics, Economics, Business, Computer Science, Engineering or a related Overall 4 to 7 years of experience in Analytics, insights or consulting 2+ years of experience in Power BI, Python, SQL Demonstrated ability to analyse datasets, draw insights, and communicate results in an accessible way.
